ANNOUNCEMENTS
NATIONAL JAMBOREE. Signups continue for the National Jamboree in 2010! Youth and
Adult Staff positions still remain available. Celebrate 100 years of Scouting in the United States at the National
Jamboree. Youth must apply on-line, pay a deposit of $100, and then interview with the selection committee.

SCOUTERS ACADEMY. Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines! It
is time to get revved up and excited about attending the 2009 version of Scouters Academy. The theme for this year is The
Scouters Academy 100: Putting YOU in the driver’s seat! We have added quite a few new options with this Academy, including
a midway that you can participate in instead of a classroom instruction period. The cost for this race is $20 for a patch,
t-shirt and lots of instructions. You can once again purchase a one of a kind nametag just for this event and an optional
lunch. The Academy will be on November 14th at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Registration is available
